Overview: TUDCA or Tauroursodeoxycholic acid is an ambiphilic bile acid. It is the taurine conjugate form of ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA). It increases glucose-induced insulin levels, relieves endoplasmic reticulum stress, reduces apoptosis in healthy cells, and removes toxic bile acids from the liver.
